cruel act

Just read an article on today chinese newspaper.
A pregnant cat tummy was cut open by some cruel human out there and when it was found by residents living around Chua Chu Kang area, it was still alive but laying in a pool of blood.
The kitten died in it's mummy tummy and the mother cat was badly injuried and has lost too much blood therefore the vet decided to put it to sleep.

Why is there such inhuman person living in this world? Animals are just like us, they have blood and feeling. They cannot express their happiness their sadness through words but that doesn't means we can mistreat them. How can that person perform such a cruel act against that poor cat. I am ANGRY!!!! I hate people who abuse animals.
